Surfacestheory was born from a shared passion for transforming ordinary surfaces into powerful visual statements.Our company unites four scenic artists — Pavel Pesta, Brad Benischek, Paul Giglione, and Taylor Weeks. The studio brings together more than four decades of combined experience across film, television, high-end residential and commercial projects, and large-scale special events.
From sculpted textures and murals to refined faux finishes, decorative plasterwork, and immersive scenic environments, our collective merges traditional craftsmanship with a cinematic eye for atmosphere. We believe every surface tells a story , and it is our mission to make that story unforgettable.

Surfacestheory Nola is registered with the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors as a Home Improvement contractor and carries active General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance.

This allows us to work legally and safely on residential and light commercial projects across Louisiana, in full compliance with state requirements.
